It’s a little out of town so in a really quiet area of Annecy away from the noise and traffic. The staff were SUPER helpful and friendly and very very accommodating! We had the apartment in the building and when we first arrived someone had clearly been sick in the apartment and the main room was cleaned but of course the smell was still there. we told the staff and of course understood that it happens… it’s a hotel but we asked for another room as it was too bad of a smell to sleep. They immediately gave us another room for two nights for free. This helped a lot and we were able to sleep well. After the first night, they came in and changed the whole bed, mattress and everything and the smell was getting better but kept the extra room for the second night too. Third night it eas gone and all good again. thanks so much!

It was very hot during our three day stay and it was wonderful to have efficient air conditioning to return to at the end of each day. It was exceptionally clean, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was super with lots of choice and all good quality. The Number 3 bus stops about 7 minutes walk away and we used that to get into Annecy every day, allowing us to leave the car in the free car park, in the shade of the hotel so it didn't get hot. All the buses are free in the summer so we took the bus into town and then the S4 up to Semnoz and walked up to the summit for the views. Staff were very helpful.

Access from town without your own car is the issue. Walking the three kilometers uphill and through complex and unmarked intersections is not practical. There is no public transportation. Taxis are not always available at the train station, and Uber is not always available either. Once there, staff can call a taxi for you, and they come quickly. Price was excellent, but breakfast and any taxis have to be added in.

We had an open plan room, but separated by a wall part of the way accross which was ideal for keeping an eye on the kids without disturbing them. Breakfast buffet and dinner buffet were great. Helpful staff. Convenient location and free parking.
